तस्माद्‌ द्रवत मा योधा: फाल्गुनं प्राप्प संयुगे । अहमद्य रणे यत्तो योधयिष्यामि पाण्डवम्‌

Transliteration

tasmād dravata mā yodhāḥ phālgunaṁ prāpya saṁyuge | aham adya raṇe yatto yodhayisyāmi pāṇḍavam ||

Translation

അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ യോദ്ധാക്കളേ, ഓടിപ്പോകരുത്. യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഫാൽഗുണനെ നേരിട്ടെത്തി ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് രണത്തിൽ ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തോടെ—ഇന്നേ ഈ പോരിൽ പാണ്ഡവനുമായി ഏറ്റുമുട്ടും.
