Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)

धृष्टद्युम्नस्तु राजेन्द्र सर्वसैन्यान्यचोदयत्‌ । अभ्यद्रवत गाड़ेयं मा भैष्ट रथसत्तमा:,राजेन्द्र! उस समय धृष्टद्युम्नने अपनी समस्त सेनाओंको प्रेरणा देते हुए कहा--*श्रेष्ठ रथियो! गंगानन्दन भीष्मपर धावा करो। उनसे तनिक भी भय न मानो”

sañjaya uvāca | dhṛṣṭadyumnas tu rājendra sarvasainyāny acodayat | abhyadravat gāṅgeyaṃ mā bhaiṣṭa rathasattamāḥ |

രാജേന്ദ്രാ! അപ്പോൾ ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ തന്റെ സകല സൈന്യവിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു—“ശ്രേഷ്ഠ രഥവീരന്മാരേ! ഗംഗാനന്ദനായ ഭീഷ്മനിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലൂ; അല്പവും ഭയപ്പെടരുത്.”
