भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
अलनम्बुषो रथश्रेष्ठ: श्रुतायुश्न महारथ: । पृष्ठत: सर्वसैन्यानां स्थितौ व्यूहस्य दंशितौ
sañjaya uvāca |
alambūṣo rathaśreṣṭhaḥ śrutāyuś ca mahārathaḥ |
pṛṣṭhataḥ sarvasainyānāṃ sthitau vyūhasya daṃśitau ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രഥികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ അലമ്പുഷനും മഹാരഥനായ ശ്രുതായുവും—ഇരുവരും കവചധാരികളായി—സകലസേനയുടെ പിന്നിലും വ്യൂഹത്തിന്റെ പൃഷ്ഠഭാഗത്തും നിലകൊണ്ടു.
