Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 77 — Saindhava resistance, Arjuna’s restraint, and Duḥśalā’s supplication
ततः पर्जन्यवत् सर्वे शरवृष्टीरवासृजन् । तै: कीर्ण: शुशुभे पार्थो रविरमेघान्तरे यथा
tataḥ parjanyavat sarve śaravṛṣṭīr avāsṛjan | taiḥ kīrṇaḥ śuśubhe pārtho ravir ameghāntare yathā ||
അപ്പോൾ മഴമേഘങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അവർ എല്ലാവരും അമ്പുകളുടെ വൃഷ്ടി ചൊരിഞ്ഞു. ആ ശരങ്ങളാൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ട പാർത്ഥ അർജുനൻ, മേഘാന്തരത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തനായി ശോഭിച്ചു।
