एवं तदभवद् युद्धमहान्यष्टादश प्रभो । यत्र ते पृथिवीपाला निहता: स्वर्गमावसन्,प्रभो! इस प्रकार अठारह दिनोंतक वह युद्ध हुआ है। उसमें जो राजा मारे गये हैं, वे स्वर्गलोकमें जा बसे हैं
evaṁ tad abhavad yuddha-mahān aṣṭādaśa prabho | yatra te pṛthivī-pālā nihatāḥ svargam āvasan, prabho ||
പ്രഭോ! ഇങ്ങനെ ആ മഹായുദ്ധം പതിനെട്ടു ദിവസങ്ങൾ നീണ്ടു; അതിൽ നിഹതരായ ഭൂമിപാല രാജാക്കന്മാർ സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകത്തിൽ വാസം ചെയ്തു.
