समस्तमिह तच्छुत्वा सम्यगेवावधार्यताम् | अहिंसा सर्वभूतानामेतत् कृत्यतमं मतम्
samastam iha tac chrutvā samyag evāvadhāryatām | ahiṃsā sarvabhūtānām etat kṛtyatamaṃ matam ||
ഇവിടെയുള്ള ഇതെല്ലാം കേട്ട് ശരിയായി ഗ്രഹിച്ച് ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദൃഢമായി ധരിക്കുവിൻ—സകല ജീവികളോടും അഹിംസയാണ് ഏറ്റവും പരമമായ കര്ത്തവ്യമെന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു.
