ब्राह्मण उवाच मोक्षधर्म समाश्रित्य कृष्ण यन्मामपृच्छथा: । भूतानामनुकम्पार्थ यन्मोहच्छेदनं विभो
brāhmaṇa uvāca: mokṣadharma-samāśritya kṛṣṇa yan mām apṛcchathāḥ | bhūtānām anukampārthaṃ yan moha-cchedanaṃ vibho ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ, മധുസൂദനാ! സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളോടും അനുകമ്പകൊണ്ട്, അവരുടെ മോഹം ഛേദിക്കുവാൻ, മോക്ഷധർമ്മത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് നീ എന്നോട് ചോദിച്ച ഈ ചോദ്യത്തിന് ഞാൻ യഥാവിധി മറുപടി പറയുന്നു. പ്രഭോ, മാധവാ, ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേൾക്കുക.
