धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
सर्वेर्भवद्धिद्रष्टव्य: समेषु विषमेषु च । ये कुरुकुलरत्न कुन्तीपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर आपलोगोंके पालक हैं। अच्छे और बुरे सभी समयोंमें आप सब लोग इनपर कृपादृष्टि रखें
sarvair bhavadbhir draṣṭavyaḥ sameṣu viṣameṣu ca | ye kurukularatnaḥ kuntīputro rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ āpālokānāṁ pālakaḥ | acche bure sabhī samayoṁ meṁ āpa sab log inpar kṛpādṛṣṭi rakheṁ |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അനുകൂലവും പ്രതികൂലവും ആയ കാലങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അവനിലേക്കു ദൃഷ്ടി വെക്കുക. കുന്തീപുത്രനായ രാജാ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ കുരുകുലത്തിന്റെ രത്നം; നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരുടെയും രക്ഷകനാണ്. അതിനാൽ ഭാഗ്യവും ദുര്ഭാഗ്യവും വരുന്ന എല്ലാ കാലങ്ങളിലും അവനോടു കരുണാദൃഷ്ടിയും പിന്തുണയും നിലനിർത്തുക।
