Transliteration

sūrya uvāca | maharṣe śirasaḥ trāṇaṁ chatraṁ mad-raśmi-vāraṇam | pratigṛhlīṣva padbhyāṁ ca trāṇārthaṁ carma-pāduke ||

Translation

സൂര്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹർഷേ! ഈ കുട എന്റെ കിരണങ്ങളെ തടഞ്ഞ് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശിരസ്സിനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കും. കൂടാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാദങ്ങൾ പൊള്ളാതിരിക്കാനായി ഈ ചർമപാദുകകൾ—ദയവായി സ്വീകരിക്കൂ.
