इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें छ॒त्र और उपानहकी उत्पत्तिनामक पंचानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ९५ ॥। अपर बछ। है २ षण्णवतितमोब< ध्याय: छत्र और उपानहकी उत्पत्ति एवं दानकी प्रशंसा युधिछिर उवाच एवं प्रयाचति तथा भास्करे मुनिसत्तम: | जमदन्निर्महातेजा: कि कार्य प्रत्यपद्यत,युधिष्ठिरने पूछा--पितामह! जब सूर्यदेव इस प्रकार याचना कर रहे थे, उस समय महातेजस्वी मुनिश्रेष्ठ जमदग्निने कौन-सा कार्य किया?

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: evaṁ prayācati ca bhāskare munisattamaḥ | Jamadagniḥ mahātejāḥ kiṁ kāryaṁ pratyapadyata ||

യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പിതാമഹാ! സൂര്യദേവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ യാചിക്കുമ്പോൾ, മഹാതേജസ്വിയായ മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ ജമദഗ്നി ഏതു പ്രവർത്തി ചെയ്തു?
