Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
बालादित्यवपु:प्रख्यै: पुष्करैरुपशोभिताम् । वैदूर्यवर्णसदृशै: पद्मपत्रैरथावृताम्,प्रातःकालीन सूर्यके समान अरुण रंगके कमलपुष्प उस सरोवरकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे तथा वैदूर्यमणिकी-सी कान्तिवाले कमलिनीके पत्ते उसमें चारों ओर छा रहे थे

പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ ബാലസൂര്യന്റെ അരുണവർണ്ണംപോലെ ദീപ്തമായ താമരകളാൽ ആ തടാകം അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; വൈദൂര്യമണിപോലെ കാന്തിയുള്ള താമരയിലകൾ അതിനെ ചുറ്റുമെല്ലാം മൂടിയിരുന്നു।
