Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
श्रमेण महता कृत्वा ते बिसानि कलापश: । तीरे निक्षिप्य पद्मिन्यास्तर्पणं चक्रुरम्भसा,फिर बहुत परिश्रम करके उन्होंने अलग-अलग बोझे बाँधे। इसके बाद उन्हें किनारेपर ही रखकर वे सरोवरके जलसे तर्पण करने लगे
śrameṇa mahatā kṛtvā te bisāni kalāpaśaḥ | tīre nikṣipya padminyās tarpaṇaṃ cakrur ambhasā ||
പിന്നീട് വലിയ പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ അവർ മൃണാളങ്ങളെ വേർതിരിച്ച കെട്ടുകളാക്കി. അവയെ താമര നിറഞ്ഞ തടാകത്തിന്റെ കരയിൽ വെച്ച്, അതിലെ വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടു തർപ്പണം ചെയ്തു।
