Vṛṣādarbhī–Saptarṣi Dialogue
संकीर्णयोनिर्विप्रश्न॒ सम्बन्धी पतितश्न यः । वर्जनीया बुधैरेते निवापे समुपस्थिते
saṅkīrṇayonir vipraśna-sambandhī patitaś ca yaḥ | varjanīyā budhair ete nivāpe samupasthite ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സങ്കീർണ്ണ/അനിയത ജന്മമുള്ളവൻ, ‘വിഫ്രശ്ന’വുമായി ബന്ധമുള്ള ബന്ധു, ധർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പതിതനായവൻ—ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും പിണ്ഡദാന/ശ്രാദ്ധസമയം വന്നാൽ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ വर्ज്യരെന്ന് വിധിക്കുന്നു.
