विश्वेदेवाश्व ये नित्यं पितृभि: सह गोचरा: । तेभ्य: संकल्पिता भागा: स्वयमेव स्वयम्भुवा

Transliteration

Viśvedevāś ca ye nityaṃ pitṛbhiḥ saha gocarāḥ | tebhyaḥ saṅkalpitā bhāgāḥ svayam eva svayambhuvā ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പിതൃകളോടൊപ്പം നിത്യമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വേദേവന്മാർക്കുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങൾ സ്വയംഭൂ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) തന്നെയാണ് നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്; അതുകൊണ്ട് മന്ത്രപൂർവം അഗ്നൗകരണകർമ്മം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി, അഗ്നി-സോമ-വരുണ-പിതൃസഹിതരായ വിശ്വേദേവന്മാർക്കും നിത്യമായി അവരുടെ ഭാഗം അർപ്പിക്കണം.
