सप्त विप्रांस्ततो भोज्ये युगपत्‌ समुपानयत्‌ । ऋते च लवणं भोज्यं श्यामाकान्न॑ ददौ प्रभु:,प्रभावशाली निमिने उन सातोंको एक ही साथ भोजनके लिये अलोना सावाँ परोसा

sapta viprāṁs tato bhojye yugapat samupānayat | ṛte ca lavaṇaṁ bhojyaṁ śyāmākānnaṁ dadau prabhuḥ |

അപ്പോൾ ശക്തിമാനായ രാജാവ് നിമി ഏഴ് ബ്രാഹ്മണരെ ഒരേസമയം ഭോജനത്തിനായി കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്, ഉപ്പില്ലാത്ത ശ്യാമാകധാന്യഭക്ഷണം വിളമ്പി।
