संजुहावात्मना55त्मानं स्वयमेव तदा प्रभो | यज्ञं च शोभयामास बहुरूपं पिनाकधृत्,प्रभो! पिनाकधारी महादेवजीने अनेक रूपवाले उस यज्ञकी शोभा बढ़ायी और उन्होंने स्वयं ही अपने द्वारा अपने आपको आहुति प्रदान की
saṁjuhāvātmanātmānaṁ svayam eva tadā prabho | yajñaṁ ca śobhayāmāsa bahurūpaṁ pinākadhṛt ||
വസിഷ്ഠൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പ്രഭോ! അന്ന് പിനാകധാരിയായ മഹാദേവൻ അനേകരൂപങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ചു ആ യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ ശോഭ വർധിപ്പിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവൻ തന്നേ, തന്റെ തന്നെയാൽ, തന്റെ തന്നെ ആഹുതിയായി അർപ്പിച്ചു।
