Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
जग्राहांगिरसं देव: शिखी तस्माद्भधुताशन: । तस्मादांगिरसा ज्ञेया: सर्व एव तदन्वया:
jagrāhāṅgirasaṃ devaḥ śikhī tasmād badhutāśanaḥ | tasmād āṅgirasā jñeyāḥ sarva eva tad-anvayāḥ ||
വസിഷ്ഠൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ജ്വാലാകിരീടധാരിയായ ദേവൻ അഗ്നി അങ്ഗിരസിനെ പുത്രരൂപത്തിൽ സ്വീകരിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ അങ്ഗിരസവംശത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച എല്ലാവരും അഗ്നിവംശീയരെന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടണം; ‘വാരുണ’ എന്ന സംജ്ഞയാലും അറിയപ്പെടണം.
