Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ततो मां दर्शयामासु: स्वप्नान्ते पितरस्तथा । प्रीयमाणास्तु मामूचु: प्रीता: सम भरतर्षभ
tato māṁ darśayāmāsuḥ svapnānte pitaras tathā | prīyamāṇās tu mām ūcuḥ prītāḥ sam bharatarṣabha ||
അപ്പോൾ സ്വപ്നാന്തത്തിൽ പിതൃകൾ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു എനിക്ക് ദർശനം നൽകി. സന്തുഷ്ടരായി അവർ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! ഞങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തരാണ്.”
