तासां शृंगाण्यजायन्त यस्या यादृड़मनोगतम् । नानावर्णा: शृंगवन्त्यस्ता व्यरोचन्त पुत्रक
tāsāṃ śṛṅgāṇy ajāyanta yasyā yādṛg manogatam | nānāvarṇāḥ śṛṅgavatyās tā vyarocanta putraka ||
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ആ പശുക്കളുടെ കൊമ്പുകൾ ഉദിച്ചു; ഓരോന്നും മനസ്സിൽ ഏതു രൂപം ആഗ്രഹിച്ചുവോ അതിനനുസരിച്ചുതന്നെ കൊമ്പുകൾ രൂപപ്പെട്ടു. പല നിറങ്ങളിലുള്ള കൊമ്പുകൾ ധരിച്ച് അവ അത്യന്തം ശോഭിച്ചു, മകനേ!
