Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
वैशम्पायन उवाच तथा सर्व कृतवान् धर्मराजो भीष्मेणोक्तो विधिवद् गोप्रदाने । स मान्धातुर्देवदेवोपदिष्टं सम्यग्धर्म धारयामास राजा
vaiśampāyana uvāca tathā sarvaṁ kṛtavān dharmarājo bhīṣmeṇokto vidhivad gopradāne | sa māndhātur devadevo padiṣṭaṁ samyag dharmaṁ dhārayāmāsa rājā ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ജനമേജയാ! ഭീഷ്മൻ വിധിപൂർവ്വം ഗോദാനത്തിന്റെ ക്രമം നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചപ്പോൾ ധർമ്മരാജൻ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ എല്ലാം യഥാവിധി നിർവഹിച്ചു. ദേവഗുരു ബൃഹസ്പതി മാൻധാതാവിനോട് ഉപദേശിച്ച ശുദ്ധധർമ്മവും രാജാവ് ശരിയായ ഭാവത്തോടെ ദൃഢമായി ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ധരിച്ചു.
