Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
धर्मज्ञ पितामह! यह सब मैं यथावत् रूपसे जानना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | yo vrataṃ vai yathoddiṣṭaṃ tathā sampratipadyate | akhaṇḍaṃ samyag ārabhya tasya lokāḥ sanātanāḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ, ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ യഥാവിധി നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ വ്രതം സ്വീകരിച്ച്, ശരിയായ രീതിയിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച്, ഇടവേളയില്ലാതെ അഖണ്ഡമായി പാലിക്കുന്നവന് സനാതന ലോകങ്ങൾ ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
