Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
पितृशुश्रूषणे कि च मातृशुश्रूषणे तथा । आचार्यगुरुशुश्रूषास्वनुक्रोशानुकम्पने
pitṛśuśrūṣaṇe kiṁ ca mātṛśuśrūṣaṇe tathā | ācārya-guruśuśrūṣāsv anukrośānukampane ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പിതാവിനെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ എന്ത് ഫലം, അതുപോലെ മാതാവിനെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ എന്ത് ഫലം? ആചാര്യനെയും ഗുരുവിനെയും ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ, കൂടാതെ സകല ജീവികളോടും അനുക്രോശവും അനുകമ്പയും നിലനിർത്തുന്നതിലൂടെ എന്ത് ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു?
