अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
यदा तौ निर्विकारौ तु लक्षयामास भार्गव: । तत उत्थाय सहसा स्नानशालां विवेश ह
yadā tau nirvikārau tu lakṣayāmāsa bhārgavaḥ | tata utthāya sahasā snānaśālāṃ viveśa ha sa muniḥ punar evātha nṛpateḥ paśyatas tadā | nāsūyāṃ cakratus tau ca dampatī bharatarṣabha ||
ഭാർഗവ മുനി ആ രാജദമ്പതികൾ പൂർണ്ണമായും നിർവികാരരാണെന്ന് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹം പെട്ടെന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് സ്നാനശാലയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. രാജാവ് നോക്കിനിൽക്കേ തന്നെ ആ മുനി വീണ്ടും അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു. സ്നാനത്തിനായി രാജോചിതമായ എല്ലാ സാമഗ്രികളും മുൻകൂട്ടി ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, അദ്ദേഹം അതൊന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ പൂർണ്ണമായി അവഗണിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും, ഹേ ഭാരതശ്രേഷ്ഠ, ആ ദമ്പതികൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ദോഷദൃഷ്ടി കാണിച്ചില്ല.
