अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
क्लृप्तमेव तु तत्रासीत् स्नानीयं पार्थिवोचितम् । असत्कृत्य च तत् सर्व तत्रैवान्न्तरधीयत
klṛptam eva tu tatrāsīt snānīyaṁ pārthivocitam | asatkṛtya ca tat sarvaṁ tatraivāntaradhīyata ||
ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! അവിടെ സ്നാനത്തിനായി രാജോചിതമായ സാമഗ്രികൾ മുൻകൂട്ടി ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അവയെല്ലാം അവഗണിച്ച്—ഒന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ—ആ മുനി രാജാവ് നോക്കി നിൽക്കേ അവിടെയേ തന്നെ അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു. എന്നിട്ടും ആ ദമ്പതികൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടു ദോഷദൃഷ്ടി വെച്ചില്ല.

A king has already prepared royal bathing materials for a visiting sage. The sage ignores the entire arrangement and, in front of the king, vanishes on the spot. Despite this unexpected act, the king and queen do not judge the sage or view him with दोष-दृष्टि (a blaming gaze).
