नहुष उवाच ब्रवीतु भगवान्‌ मूल्यं महर्षे: सदृशं भूगो: । परित्रायस्व मामस्मद्विषयं च कुलं च मे

Transliteration

Nahuṣa uvāca: Bravītu bhagavān mūlyaṃ maharṣeḥ sadṛśaṃ Bhṛgoḥ | Paritrāyasva mām asmad-viṣayaṃ ca kulaṃ ca me ||

Translation

നഹുഷൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഭഗവൻ! ഭൃഗുവംശത്തിലെ മഹർഷിക്ക് യോജിച്ച പ്രതിഫലം (മൂല്യം) അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുക. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്ത് എന്നെയും, എന്റെ രാജ്യത്തെയും, എന്റെ കുലത്തെയും ഈ ഭീഷണിയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.”
