गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

आत्मानमाख्याति हि कर्मभिर्नर: सुशीलचारित्रकुलै: शुभाशुभै: । प्रणष्टमप्याशु कुलं तथा नर: पुन: प्रकाशं कुरुते स्वकर्मत:,मनुष्य अपने शुभाशुभ कर्म, शील, आचरण और कुलके द्वारा अपना परिचय देता है। यदि उसका कुल नष्ट हो गया हो तो भी वह अपने कर्मोद्वारा उसे फिर शीघ्र ही प्रकाशमें ला देता है
ātmānam ākhyāti hi karmabhir naraḥ suśīlacāritrakulaiḥ śubhāśubhaiḥ | praṇaṣṭam apy āśu kulaṃ tathā naraḥ punaḥ prakāśaṃ kurute svakarmataḥ ||
മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ ശുഭാശുഭ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ, ശീലം, ആചാരം, കുലപരമ്പര എന്നിവയാൽ തന്നെയാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. അവന്റെ കുലം നശിച്ച് മറഞ്ഞുപോയാലും, സ്വന്തം കർമ്മബലത്തോടെ അതിനെ വേഗത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും കീർത്തിയിലും മാനത്തിലും ഉയർത്താം.
