Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
तथैव हि भवेयुस्ते लोका: पापकृतो यथा । कृत्वा नाचक्षत: कर्म मम तच्च यथाकृतम्
tathaiva hi bhaveyus te lokāḥ pāpakṛto yathā | kṛtvā nācakṣataḥ karma mama tac ca yathākṛtam |
വിപുലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ലോകങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാകാം നിനക്കും ലഭിക്കുക. എന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്ന വേളയിൽ നീ ചെയ്ത ആ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്തിട്ടും എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞില്ല; അതിനാൽ നിന്റെ ഗതിയും പാപികളുടെ ലോകങ്ങളിലേക്കാകാമായിരുന്നു.
