Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
ततो विष्टभ्य विपुलो गुरुपत्न्या: कलेवरम् | उवास रक्षणे युक्तो न च सा तमबुद्ध्यत
tato viṣṭabhya vipulo gurupatnyāḥ kalevaram | uvāsa rakṣaṇe yukto na ca sā tam abuddhyata ||
അപ്പോൾ വിപുലൻ ഗുരുപത്നിയുടെ ദേഹം താങ്ങി സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തി, അവളെ കാക്കുന്നതിൽ നിയുക്തനായി അവിടെ തന്നേ പാർത്തു; എന്നാൽ അവൾ അവനെ (രക്ഷകനെന്ന നിലയിൽ) തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
