तस्माद् बलेन भार्याया रक्षणं स चकार ह । वे यह भी जानते थे कि इन्द्र बड़ा ही पर-स्त्रीलम्पट है, इसलिये वे अपनी स्त्रीकी उनसे यत्नपूर्वक रक्षा करते थे
tasmād balena bhāryāyā rakṣaṇaṃ sa cakāra ha |
അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ തന്റെ മുഴുവൻ ശക്തിയോടെ ഭാര്യയെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ബാധ്യത ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. ഇന്ദ്രൻ പരസ്ത്രീലമ്പടനാണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞതിനാൽ, അവളെ അത്യന്തം ജാഗ്രതയോടെയും പരിശ്രമത്തോടെയും നിരന്തരം കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിച്ചു।
