मांसं च रुधिरं चास्य मज्जा मेदश्न मे हितम्‌ | परितोषकरो होष मम मास्याग्रतो भव

māṁsaṁ ca rudhiraṁ cāsya majjā medaś ca me hitam | paritoṣakaro hoṣa mama māsyāgrato bhava

പരുന്ത് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇതിന്റേ മാംസവും രക്തവും, മജ്ജയും മേദസ്സും—ഇവ എനിക്ക് ഹിതകരമാണ്. എന്നെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവനേ, എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ മാംസം വെക്കുക.”
