भीष्म उवाच ब्राह्म॒ण्यं तात दुष्प्राप्यं वर्ण: क्षत्रादिभिस्त्रिभि: । परं हि सर्वभूतानां स्थानमेतद् युधिछ्िर
Translation
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—താത യുധിഷ്ഠിര! ക്ഷത്രിയാദി മൂന്നു വർണങ്ങൾക്ക് ബ്രാഹ്മണ്യം നേടുക അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്പ്രാപ്യം; കാരണം ഇത് സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും പരമോന്നത സ്ഥാനമാണ്.
