जात्यन्धैरिह तुल्यास्ते मृत: पड़गुभिरेव च । समर्था ये न पश्यन्ति गड़ां पुण्यजलां शिवाम्,जो सामर्थ्य होते हुए भी पवित्र जलवाली कल्याणमयी गंगाका दर्शन नहीं करते वे जन्मके अन्धों, पंगुओं और मुर्दोके समान हैं
jātyandhair iha tulyās te mṛtāḥ paṅgubhir eva ca | samarthā ye na paśyanti gaṅgāṃ puṇyajalāṃ śivām ||
ശേഷിയുണ്ടായിട്ടും പുണ്യജലമുള്ള ശിവകരമായ ഗംഗയെ ദർശിക്കാത്തവർ ഇവിടെ ജന്മാന്ധന്മാരും മുടന്തന്മാരും മരിച്ചവരും പോലെയാണ്.
