कालिकाश्रममासाद्य विपाशायां कृतोदक: । ब्रह्मचारी जितक्रोधस्त्रिसत्रं मुच्यते भवात्‌,जो कालिकाश्रममें स्नान करके विपाशा (व्यास) नदीमें पितरोंका तर्पण करता है और क्रोधको जीतकर ब्रह्मचर्यका पालन करते हुए तीन रात वहाँ निवास करता है, वह जन्म- मरणके बन्धनसे छूट जाता है

Kālikāśramam āsādya Vipāśāyāṁ kṛtodakaḥ | Brahmacārī jitakrodhas trisatraṁ mucyate bhavāt ||

കാലികാശ്രമത്തിലെത്തി വിപാശാ നദിയിൽ വിധിപൂർവം ജലകർമ്മങ്ങൾ (തർപ്പണാദി) നിർവഹിച്ചു, ക്രോധം ജയിച്ച് ബ്രഹ്മചര്യം പാലിച്ച് മൂന്ന് രാത്രികൾ അവിടെ വസിക്കുന്നവൻ ഭവബന്ധനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിതനാകുന്നു।
