अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त्वा ते जग्मुराशु चत्वारोडमिततेजस: । पृथिवी काश्यपो<ग्निश्च प्रकृष्टायुश्व भार्गव:
bhīṣma uvāca | ity uktvā te jagmur āśu catvāro 'mitatejasaḥ | pṛthivī kāśyapo 'gniś ca prakṛṣṭāyuś ca bhārgavaḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! ഇങ്ങനെ തങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം പ്രസ്താവിച്ച ശേഷം, അപാര തേജസ്സുള്ള ആ നാലുപേരും—പൃഥ്വി, കാശ്യപൻ, അഗ്നി, ദീർഘായുസ്സുള്ള ഭാർഗവൻ (മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ)—ഉടൻ തന്നെ അവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.
