आश्चर्य परम हीदं कि नु श्रेयो हि मे भवेत् । दिव्याभरणवत्त्रा हि कन्येयं मामुपस्थिता
āścaryaṁ parama hīdaṁ ki nu śreyo hi me bhavet | divyābharaṇavastrā hi kanyeyaṁ mām upasthitā ||
അഷ്ടാവക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇത് പരമ അത്ഭുതം തന്നെ! ഇതിൽ നിന്നെനിക്ക് എന്ത് ശ്രേയസ്സാണ് ലഭിക്കുക? ദിവ്യാഭരണങ്ങളും ദിവ്യവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ധരിച്ച ഈ കന്യ എന്റെ സേവയിൽ മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നു. മുമ്പ് വൃദ്ധയായിരുന്നവൾ ഇപ്പോൾ കന്യാരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു—ഇത് മഹാത്ഭുതം. ഇത് എനിക്ക് മംഗളകരമാവുമോ?
