Aṣṭāvakra and the Woman: Disclosure, Permission, and Marital Resolution (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय २२)
भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! ऋषिकी बात सुनकर उस स्त्रीने कहा--“बहुत अच्छा, ऐसा ही हो” यों कहकर वह दिव्य तेल और स्नानोपयोगी वस्त्र ले आयी ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | rājann ṛṣikīṃ vācaṃ śrutvā sā strī pratyuvāca—“sādhu, evam eva bhavatu” iti | evaṃ uktvā sā divyaṃ tailaṃ snānopayogī ca vāsas ājahāra || anujñātā ca muninā sā strī tena mahātmanā | athāsya tailenāṅgāni sarvāṇy evābhyamṛkṣat ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! ഋഷിയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട ആ സ്ത്രീ, “ബാഢം, അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ദിവ്യമായ എണ്ണയും കുളിക്കാനുള്ള യോജ്യവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. പിന്നെ ആ മഹാത്മ മുനിയുടെ അനുവാദം ലഭിച്ച ശേഷം, ആ എണ്ണകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങളിലും അഭ്യംഗം ചെയ്തു.
