रुद्र-स्तवराजः (Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti

स्तवमेतं भगवतो ब्रह्मा स्वयमधारयत्‌ । गीयते च स बुद्धयेत ब्रह्मा शंकरसंनिधौ

stavam etaṁ bhagavato brahmā svayam adhārayat | gīyate ca sa buddhyeta brahmā śaṅkarasaṁnidhau ||

വായു പറഞ്ഞു—ഭഗവാന്റെ ഈ സ്തോത്രം ബ്രഹ്മാവ് സ്വയം തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ധരിച്ചു; ശങ്കരന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ബ്രഹ്മാവുതന്നെ ഇതു പാടുന്നു എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഈ വേദസമമായ സ്തുതിയെ പഠിച്ച് ഉള്ളിൽ പതിപ്പിക്കണം।
