जन्मकोटिसहस्रेषु नानासंसारयोनिषु । जन्तोर्विगतपापस्य भवे भक्ति: प्रजायते
janmakoṭisahasreṣu nānāsaṃsārayoniṣu | jantor vigatapāpasya bhave bhaktiḥ prajāyate ||
കോടിക്കണക്കിന് സഹസ്രജന്മങ്ങളോളം നാനാവിധ സംസാരയോനികളിൽ അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞ് ഒരു ജീവൻ പൂർണ്ണമായി പാപരഹിതനായാൽ, അവനിൽ ഭഗവാൻ ശിവനോടുള്ള ഭക്തി ഉദിക്കുന്നു.
