Shloka 15

शयानं वीरशयने ददर्श नृपतिस्तत: । ततो रथादवातीर्य भ्रातृभि: सह धर्मराट्‌,धर्मराज राजा युधिष्ठिर दूरसे ही बाणशय्यापर सोये हुए भीष्मजीको देखकर भाइयोंसहित रथसे उतर पड़े

śayānaṃ vīraśayane dadarśa nṛpatis tataḥ | tato rathād avātīrya bhrātṛbhiḥ saha dharmarāṭ dharmarājo rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

അപ്പോൾ രാജാവ് വീരശയ്യയായ ശരശയ്യയിൽ ശയിച്ചിരുന്ന ഭീഷ്മ പിതാമഹനെ കണ്ടു. അത് കണ്ട ധർമ്മരാജ യുദ്ധിഷ്ഠിരൻ സഹോദരന്മാരോടൊപ്പം രഥത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി, യുദ്ധാനന്തര ആ നിമിഷത്തിലും ആദരഭക്തിയോടെ പിതാമഹന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു.
