सौम्या गौ: सुरभियद्देवी विश्रवाश्व महानृषि: । संकल्प: सागरो गजड्जा स्रवन्त्यो5थ मरुद्गण:
bhīṣma uvāca |
saumyā gauḥ surabhir yad devī viśravāś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |
saṅkalpaḥ sāgaraḥ gaṅgādyāḥ sravantyo 'tha marudgaṇaḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ പുണ്യനാമപരമ്പരയിൽ സൗമ്യസ്വഭാവിനിയായ ദേവി സുരഭി ഗാവ്, മഹർഷി വിശ്രവാ, സങ്കൽപശക്തി, സമുദ്രം, ഗംഗാദി പ്രവഹിക്കുന്ന നദികൾ, മരുৎഗണങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
