The verse conveys divine reassurance: even when loss or damage occurs through powerful forces, what belongs to the righteous and is under divine protection can be restored—sometimes improved—highlighting grace and the safeguarding of what is truly meant to endure.
Vāyudeva addresses Janārdana, acknowledging that he has caused damage—breaking, burning, or destroying certain possessions—and promises that Janārdana will behold everything returned to its former state or better, functioning as a pledge of restoration.
