Shloka 30

न च मे स्तोकमप्यासीद्‌ दुःखमीकष्याकृतं तदा । तथा स राजमार्गेण महता निर्ययौ बहि:,उस समय मेरे मनमें थोड़ा-सा भी ईर्ष्याजनित दुःख नहीं हुआ। इसी अवस्थामें वे महलसे बाहर आकर विशाल राजमार्गसे चलने लगे

na ca me stokam apy āsīd duḥkham īkṣyākṛtaṃ tadā | tathā sa rājamārgeṇa mahatā niryayau bahiḥ ||

അപ്പോൾ അസൂയയിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന ചെറുതായെങ്കിലും ദുഃഖം എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ഉദിച്ചില്ല. പിന്നെ അവൻ കൊട്ടാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു വിശാലമായ രാജപാതയിലൂടെ മുന്നേറി.
