तस्यैवोर्ध्व॑ तिर्यगधश्षुरन्ति गभस्तयो मेदिनीं भासयन्त: । त॑ं ब्राह्मणा वेदविदो जुषन्ति तस्यादित्यो भामुपयुज्य भाति

Transliteration

tasyaivordhvaṁ tiryag adhaś ca śuranti gabhastayo medinīṁ bhāsayantaḥ | taṁ brāhmaṇā vedavido juṣanti tasyādityo bhām upayujya bhāti ||

Translation

ആ ഒരേയൊരു പരമതത്ത്വത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ് മേലോട്ടും വശങ്ങളിലേക്കും കീഴോട്ടും കിരണങ്ങൾ പടർന്ന് ഭൂമിയെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വേദവിദ്യയുള്ള ബ്രാഹ്മണർ ആ തത്ത്വത്തെയേ ആരാധിച്ചു സേവിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ദീപ്തിയെ ആശ്രയിച്ചാണ് സൂര്യൻ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നത്.
