ऋषिर्मेधातिथे: पुत्र: कण्वो बर्हिषदस्तथा । ब्रह्मतेजोमया: सर्वे कीर्तिता लोकभावना:

Transliteration

ṛṣir medhātitheḥ putraḥ kaṇvo barhiṣadas tathā | brahma-tejomayāḥ sarve kīrtitā loka-bhāvanāḥ ||

Translation

മേധാതിഥിയുടെ പുത്രൻ കണ്വ ഋഷിയും വർഹിഷദും (അവരിൽ തന്നെയുണ്ട്). ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും ബ്രഹ്മതേജസ്സാൽ നിറഞ്ഞവരായി, ലോകഹിതകരും ലോകധാരകരുമെന്നു കീർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
