कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity

अल्पभोगकुले जाता अल्पभोगरता नरा: । अनेन कर्मणा देवि भवन्त्यधनिनो नरा:,देवि! इस पापकर्मसे ही मनुष्य अल्प भोगवाले कुलमें जन्म लेता है, थोड़े-से ही भोग भोगते और सदा निर्धन रहते हैं

alpabhogakule jātā alpabhogarātā narāḥ | anena karmaṇā devi bhavanty adhanino narāḥ ||

മഹേശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു— ദേവീ! ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പാപകർമ്മം മൂലം മനുഷ്യർ അല്പഭോഗമുള്ള കുലത്തിൽ ജന്മം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; ചെറുതായ ഭോഗങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ ആസക്തരാകുന്നു; എന്നും ദരിദ്രരായി തുടരുന്നു.
