कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः

Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time

एष दीर्घायुषां मार्ग: सुवृत्तानां सुकर्मिणाम्‌ । प्राणिहिंसाविमोक्षेण ब्रह्मणा समुदीरित:

eṣa dīrghāyuṣāṁ mārgaḥ suvṛttānāṁ sukarmiṇām | prāṇihiṁsāvimokṣeṇa brahmaṇā samudīritaḥ ||

ഇത് ദീർഘായുസ്സുള്ളവരുടെ—സുവൃത്തരും സുകർമികളും ആയവരുടെ—മാർഗമാണ്. ബ്രഹ്മാവ് തന്നെയാണ് ഈ വഴി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചത്; സർവ്വപ്രാണികളോടുള്ള ഹിംസയിൽ നിന്ന് വിമുക്തിയാൽ മാത്രമേ ഇത് ലഭിക്കൂ.
