Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच देवि धर्मार्थतत्त्वज्ञे धर्मनित्ये दमे रते । सर्वप्राणिहित: प्रश्न: श्रूयतां बुद्धिवर्धन:
śrīmaheśvara uvāca
Devi dharmārthatattvajñe dharmanitye dame rate |
sarvaprāṇihitaḥ praśnaḥ śrūyatāṃ buddhivardhanaḥ ||
ശ്രീമഹേശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—“ദേവി! നീ ധർമ്മവും അർത്ഥവും എന്ന തത്ത്വം അറിയുന്നവൾ; ധർമ്മത്തിൽ നിത്യസ്ഥിതയായവൾ; ദമത്തിൽ (ആത്മനിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ) രമിക്കുന്നവൾ. സർവ്വപ്രാണികളുടെ ഹിതത്തിനായി ഉന്നയിച്ച, ബുദ്ധിവർദ്ധകമായ ഈ ചോദ്യം കേൾക്കുക.”
