Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
ഉമാദേവി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—“അമരന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പ്രഭാവമുള്ള ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ! അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകും. ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും അസത്യം പറയുന്നില്ല. നിനക്ക് പതിനാറായിരം ഭാര്യമാർ ഉണ്ടാകും; അവരിൽ നിനക്കുള്ള പ്രേമം അക്ഷയമായിരിക്കും; നിനക്ക് അക്ഷയ സമൃദ്ധിയും ലഭിക്കും।”
