ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā

किमर्थमृषिपूगस्य त्यक्तसड्रस्य नित्यश: । निर्ममस्यागमवतो विस्मय: समुपागत:,“महर्षियो! ऋषिसमुदाय तो आसक्ति और ममतासे रहित है! सबको शास्त्रोंका ज्ञान है, फिर भी आपलोगोंको आश्चर्य क्यों हो रहा है?

kimartham ṛṣipūgasya tyaktasaṅgasya nityaśaḥ | nirmamasya āgamavato vismayaḥ samupāgataḥ ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹർഷിമാരേ! നിങ്ങൾ നിത്യവും ആസക്തിരഹിതരും മമതാശൂന്യരും ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരുമാണ്; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളിൽ ഈ വിസ്മയം എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഉദിച്ചത്?
