Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

ऐश्वर्य सकल॑ यस्मादनुत्पादितमव्ययम्‌ | अबीजाद्‌ बीजसम्भूतं वरं तस्माद्‌ वृणीमहे

Transliteration

aiśvaryaṃ sakalaṃ yasmād anutpāditam avyayam | abījād bījasambhūtaṃ varaṃ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

യാരിൽ നിന്നാണ് സർവ്വ ഐശ്വര്യവും അനുത്പന്നവും അവ്യയവും അക്ഷയവുമായി ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നത്; സ്വയം അബീജനായ അവനിൽ നിന്നാണ് ‘ബീജസംബൂത’മായ എല്ലാ കാരണം-കാര്യങ്ങളും പിറക്കുന്നത്—ആ മഹാദേവനോടാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ വരം അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.
